Anaba Lodge is a full service ski lodge in the pension style. We're stoked to be able to offer simple and delicious breakfasts, dinners, proper coffees and a decent selection of alcohol including draft beer and local whiskys, sakes and wines.
We shuttle guests to the ski resort in the morning but you can ski back to the road within a 3 minute walk of the building at the end of your day.
We have high speed fiber optic WiFi throughout the building.
Since we're in the pension style, bathrooms and showers are shared facilities.

The Food

Located in Japan's most remote powder frontier, we've got you covered for food. Serving breakfast and dinner daily for guests, we've got 4-5 options on rotation as well as a selection of nibbles like smoked radish dip with crackers (an Akita specialty) and other standard bar fare. We've also got a mostly-full-service bar with draft beers, and a selection of local sakes, wines and whiskys. A choice of a latte from a decent espresso machine or a well done pour-over will get you going in the morning like a champ.
While the exact food rotation changes by day, you can generally count on a variety of Japanese hot pot dinners with chicken or pork as the base, a vegetarian but hearty Mabo Dofu dish as well a few western options like shepherds pie. One main dish is prepared for guests in the evening. |
