The word "Anaba" in Japanese means "hidden gem" or "secret spot" and that's exactly what you'll discover during your stay with us at the Anaba Lodge. Far away from the mainstream hustle and bustle of the Japow-universe, you'll find us tucked away in a remote corner of the Tohoku powder region, skiing perfectly spaced trees at our almost-private ski hill, located just 2 minutes from the Lodge.
「アナバ（Anaba）」とは、「秘密の場所」を意味する言葉です。その名のとおり、Anaba Lodge で過ごすひとときは、日常から離れた特別な体験となるでしょう。 Anaba Lodge は、世界的に知られる日本有数のパウダーエリア、東北の中でも、さらに人里離れた静かな場所に佇んでいます。ロッジからわずか数分の場所には、ほぼプライベート感覚で楽しめるスキーヒルがあり、整然と立ち並ぶ木々の間を、心ゆくまで滑走することができます。自然と向き合いながら過ごす時間は、何ものにも代えがたい贅沢となるはずです。

Anaba Lodge was completely renovated in 2022 and is cozy, warm, and equipped with everything riders need to have a good stay, including a simple cafe, restaurant, and mostly full-service bar.
Anaba Lodge は、2022 年に全面改装を行いました。館内は暖かく居心地のよい空間となっており、スキーヤやボーダーが心からくつろぎ、快適に滞在できるよう細部まで整えられています。シンプルで落ち着いた雰囲気のカフェやレストラン、さらに充実したフルサービスのバーも備え、滞在に必要なものはすべてロッジ内で揃います。 Heated by a handmade masonry wood stove, decked out with locally sourced cedar and finished with organic plaster so natural you could eat it, Anaba Lodge feels close to the earth and is the perfect compliment to your time spent riding at Mt. Moriyoshi, located just up the road. 館内には、手作りのレンガを用いた薪ストーブが設えられ、やさしい炎が空間を温めます。デッキには地元産の杉材を使用し壁面には、安心感のある自然由来の有機漆喰で仕上げられています。自然素材に包まれた Anaba Lodge は、大地とのつながりを身近に感じさせてくれる場所です。 そして、この心地よい滞在空間が、すぐ近くに広がる森吉山での滑走体験を、より豊かで満ち足りたものにしてくれるでしょう。

While the resort has a gondola, two lifts, and some groomed runs, Ani's main appeal is gondola-accessed ski touring.
